Raven's Test
The Ravens Test is a psychometric test that aims to measure an elementary component of intelligence, the capacity for abstract reasoning, also known as the G-factor.
The G-factor is equivalent to the ability to solve logical and mathematical problems and the general educational ability of an individual, providing information about the examinee's capacity and clarity of thought for intellectual activity.
What does the IQ test consist of?
The test consists of different matrices or designs formed by non-verbal elements. To provide an answer, you must analyze the series presented to you, and following the horizontal and vertical sequence, choose one of the six or eight pieces suggested which completes the sequence perfectly.
The person must use his or her capacity for analogical reasoning to interpret each of the matrices and find relationships between the forms of the design, and thus, order the information to find the correct solution.
